TV and Wi-Fi TV, DVD-player and Wi-Fi are available. Wine cellar The castle wine cellar is stocked with red, white, sparkling and rosé wines, as well as mineral water. The store of 300 bottles of wine, is at your disposable and included in the booking price. Food and drink We will ensure you are served the type of dishes you like, on a schedule that suits you. One month before your arrival you will be asked to fill out a «preference sheet», so you can have a say in what type of meals you are served and make us aware of any allergies we need to know about. Equipment Cribs and high-chairs are available for your use. When you provide a room-allocation plan prior to your stay, we will make sure the baby bed is set up in the appropriate room for your arrival. Fireplace and outdoor wood oven There is a fireplace in 4 of the 5 sitting rooms. In addition we have an outdoor wood-burning oven that can be used for grilling or for ambience under a star-lit sky. Laundry The castle has 4 washing machines and 2 dryers. The castle caretaker, Patrice, will show you how to use them, or she'll take care of the laundry for you if you wish. Garden and neighbours Château Robert is very secluded with expansive gardens all around. You won't be distrubed by any neighbours and you needn't worry about disturbing others either. The area has also experienced very little exposure to COVID 19 and is a very safe place to stay Swimming pool Our caretaker, Patrice, cleans the pool every morning, arranges the lounge chairs, and sets out towels for you. There is a pool alarm which you can turn on if you have children in your group. Getting here Château Robert is a 1.5 hour drive from the airport in Bourdeaux. We recommend hiring a car at the airport and driving to Château Robert, so you have the option to go for day trips during your stay at the castle. If you prefer to take the train, you can book the TGV from the Montparnasse station in Paris to Dax (3 hours). It is then a 40 minute car ride from Dax to Château Robert.
